Braille Silver Dollar
The US Mint has released its first coin featuring Braille – the 2009 Louis Braille Bicentennial Silver Dollar. Money from the sales of the coin will go to support programs to help citizens who are blind. The National Federation of the Blind said that it will match the money raised through the coin sales.
